BreadxButta's Product Line- A guide to our Botanica

Here is a quick guide to our Botanica Products, their intended uses, ingredients & other important information ~ ( in alphabetical order )

Please note: To ensure efficacy and experience of the highest quality, Lynsey personally sources nearly every botanical ingredient used in BreadxButta Botanica Products; working closely with farmers, ethnobotanists, mycologists, harvesters, distillers and surrounding communities throughout the world. After 12+ years of preparation through world traveling, apprenticeship, building relationships and making deep connections, Lynsey has her hand in product creation from soil to packaging.

The herbs, flowers, roots, oils and resins that make up her family recipe formulas are sourced with a deep respect for Mother Earth, honoring Lynsey’s ancestral lineage, sustainable growth practices, mindful cultivation and sacred extraction. We work with reverence for the cultural traditions and uses of each plant and its medicines.

We have participated in the actual harvesting and processing of these materials to achieve a more holistic understanding of their power, application and synergy with other botanicals and with our bodies (on a subtle energy to physical energy level). The intention is to ensure the highest quality plant medicines and to think on a larger sustainability scale. We operate on a smaller batch system that is completely handmade and intentionally blended.

Agua de Florida:

Botanica’s Agua de Florida is handmade and was created using Lynsey’s traditional, family recipe.

✨There are so many ways to incorporate Florida Water into your spiritual life.

The stimulating citrus and floral scented cologne is commonly used for ritual offerings and purification. Some replace Holy water with Florida Water.

Wiping down all of the items on your altar with Florida Water will cleanse them of any negative energy and clear them to receive messages from the spirits and ancestors.

Also used in spells, Florida Water is used to remove heavy vibrations and to encourage the expression of emotions.

It has a calming effect on people and some believe it can help depression. Use your body to keep sadness away. Vibrationally, it is used to lighten vibrations and believed to lift our mood as well.

When seeking guidance from ancestors, placing a glass of Florida Water on your altar will clear the air of any static and interference to allow for a clear reading.

When blessing and cleansing a new home, mix Florida water with your cleaning supplies.

Baño de Espiritual - Spiritual Bath

A spiritual bano is a great ritual to cleanse your mind, body and spirit. Lynsey personally prepares each batch with fresh herbs, flower essences, flower petals, ocean or river water & spiritual colognes. In our Botanica, we offer premade banos that are made in small, intentional batches. All of our plants are harvested and curated after divination and listening to the needs of our community.

Bano Directions:

Fill up your bano bowl with distilled water and pour in the bottle's contents.
Mix the bano & water together with your hands, adding anything you would like to the bano- flowers, oils, essences, prayers, songs, smoke etc- Use your hands and your intentions to infuse the water with your ase.
When you are ready, you can add this mixture to your bath where you can soak and meditate.
You can also pour this mixture over your head if you have a shower, visualizing it as a golden light cascading over your body OR you can always use this as a relaxing foot soak, Giving yourself a moment to wind down and meditate.

Banos can also be used in home cleaning to call in energy and amplify energy or to remove heavy and negative energies as well.

** Suggested ritual**

For a bitter bath/cord cutting: Sit and write anything that you are ready to release, allow room for spirit to speak through you, sometimes we can't SEE or FEEL the things that are ready to go--- allow the plants to work their magic for you and trust. Once you are done with the bano, burn the paper that you wrote on. This will allow the energy of fire and air to further your transformation and further the release ritual.

For sweet baths/ calling in energy or love/ prosperity/ reclaiming your energy: Sit and write alll of the things that you are ready to call in, ask for the courage, strength and patience to be able to hold them as they are received. Again, asking the herbs for their knowledge and their magic to call in the things that your higher self knows that you are ready for. When you are done with the bano- two options: 1: bury your intentions in a garden or park near trees, flower beds or near anythign you feel called to. 2: place your intentions under a thriving plant and sit them on your altar.

This ritual calls upon the energy of mother earth and her growth, as the plants grow- so will your intentions.

Bhang Butta - Infused Lubricant

Using plant medicine as a natural aphrodisiac, this product promotes relaxation, increases blood flow and heightens sensation. With the use of infused coconut oil, a blend of natural oils & a blend of organic cocoa butters, Bhang Butta is vegan and edible. Fresh rosemary has been infused for vaginal PH balance, lavender has been infused for relaxation and Jasmine as an aphrodisiac. Conscious Love: Ceremonial Cacao

Conscious Love: Ceremonial Cacao is highly adaptogenic, heart opening and deeply healing. It assists us with feeling grounded and heart centered. Conscious Love is great if you’re hoping to create a ritual for yourself, take a moment of mindfulness and incorporate that mind set into your daily life. Heart healing and soothing, conscious love helps to set the tone for a more open and present, you.

We utilize the medicines of mushrooms and cacao to both soothe our parasympathetic nervous system and also to create Qi and stimulate the senses. This creates the sensation of grounding and expansion all at once, creating a balance of Yin (cooling waters) and Yang (igniting heat).

Suggested Use: Add cacao to 4-6oz of hot water or non dairy milk.

The Empath Protection Spray was created for those who feel deeply- to help keep us centered, grounded and protected. Hand crafted and made using traditional Borinquen Plant Medicine, Ocean water from la isla, cascarilla protection and a proprietary blend of essential oils to help with grounding. This spray will assist in clearing your energetic field from anything that does not serve you. It will help to protect you from energies that do not belong to you- all while supporting your heart and re-filling your cup.

Fertili-Tea :

Fertili-Tea was created while I was deep in research for herbs taht would support my early pregnancy stages as well as keeping me nourished throught the full 40+ weeks. What I found were herbs that support the reproductive system from preconception to pregnancy and even keeping our bodies and blood nourished throughout until breastfeeding. The blend consists of 9 herbs: Spearmint, Lemon Balm, Nettle, Dandelion Leaf, Red Raspberry Leaf, Oat Straw, Ginger and Lemon Peel.

Suggested Use: 1 tsp per every 8-10oz of H2O. Allow to steep for 10 minutes covered.

Flower Essences:

Flower Essences are the highest expression of vibrational medicine, they are created with the spiritual imprint of plants. They carry the flower’s unique life force expression and activate specific healing qualities within the subtle energy fields of the body. Flower essences are herbal infusions of flower medicine, blessed by sunlight and charged water. Each flower has its own energy signature which can support us in embodying different versions of our true selves. Their medicine helps regulate our nervous system and deepen connection to our energy field and to our mother earth. They can be used for emotional wellness and are supportive for bringing our emotions into balance and harmony.

This collection of flower essences started in 2018 when Lynsey took her first Flower Essence workshop and her interest in the spiritual imprinting of plants began. What became a personal documentation project by collecting 1 or 2 essences on various trips, turned into a full blown, deep discovery and conversation with plants. This relationship and connection is manifested in how she incorporates them heavily into her work from product design to creating medicine for ceremonies. Inspired by a old family recipe that was channeled/told to Lynsey in a dream during her first year working on a cannabis farm in 2011. This is BreadxButta’s first product. Integration Medicine (Flower Essence Blends)
What is a flower essence? Flower Essences are not made for physical or medical healing. They are Energy medicine. Each plant has different physical and energetic attributes just like humans. Indigenous people all over the world have used flower essences for transformational healing. Tainos believed that the morning dew that appeared on flowers at dawn contained healing properties- they believed that each flower has particular knowledge that is only imparted through water. Tainos would collect the morning dew and use it as medicine to be closer to their plant kin. They believed that when an individual ingests this water, they integrate that healing information into their bio-energetic field. Many folks now create flower essences to address profound issues of emotional well being, soul development and mind/body health.

Each of your essence blends were hand made and hand picked by Lynsey. She has been creating these blends and collecting essences from all over the world since she began her path of the Orisha in 2018. Jurema Capsules:

Our newest micrdxemedicine is here! Jurema- named after the Amazonian Cabocla and queen of the woods- this Umbanda & Catimbó diety is known and called upon to channel her warrior spirit that is accessed through vulnerability and healing. She resides in the jungle and uses her knowledge of plant medicine to heal matters of the heart, heart break, grief and coming to terms with new realities (through empowerment and remembering our birthright to shift perspective and narratives). Jurema is also closely associated with Bobinsana (Amazonian Mimosa) tree.

I was called to create this blend as I have been moving through a season of grief and had been needing to shift my perspective from a place of disempowerment to an empowered and embodied, heart centered space. Like many of us at this moment in time.

The Vessel - Body Lotion

The Vessel is a hemo based body lotion.
This tool was created in helping us to use self massage as a way to somatically release everything from anxiety stored in the body to releasing old programming about the way you look, feel or were told to feel about yourself. In the body butter we added light scents of Vetiver, Bergamot and Sandalwood. These scents were Intentionally chosen for their spiritual benefits as well as their amazing smell!

Bergamot is thought to be royal because it puts your mind into what is called 'rightful place’. That means you have the understanding that you're in the right place at the right time —you are always in your perfect moment. Bergamot gives you the crown and scepter of authority over your own life.

Wisdom Eye benefits: Brain boosting, promoting mental clarity & neural regeneration.
