Decolonizing Master Plants Through a Spiritual Lens
I am SO excited to be offering this workshop. It’s one that is near and dear to my heart. Over the last 13 years I’ve focused on the spiritual medicine that master plants and entheogens offer us. I was first called to this work while growing cannabis in Northern California back in 2011 & it’s been a JOURNEY ever since. Stewarding this plant led me on a wild and beautiful path - one that I am proud to walk. One that has taken me around the world to sit with master plants, with their communities and to cultivate deep relationships with them. My ancestors were stewards & keepers of sacred earth medicines in Puerto Rico and in Andalusia.
This class is designed for individuals interested in developing a deeper relationship with Master Plants & Sacred Earth Medicines. The session aims to explore the spiritual, physical, and cultural aspects of plant medicines, including their historical uses and traditional ceremonies. As many of you know, my focus is on the decolonization of plant medicines through education and emphasizing the importance of understanding their origins, benefits, and the need for respectful engagement.
The workshop will be held virtually during the full moon in Aquarius, harnessing the open-minded and community-oriented energy of this lunar phase. The session will be recorded and available for participants to access at any time.
D.M.P caters to both newcomers and experienced individuals in the realm of plant medicines, providing an opportunity to learn about them from the spiritual perspective of a Caribbean herbalist, medicine guide and steward.
Participants can choose to attend the class solo or opt for a medicine package component, which includes plant medicines and ritual tools for an altar. The medicine packages will be shipped out one week before the class or made available for in-person pickup at our studio in the Bronx.
