Kuripe

$25

A kuripe is a small, V-shaped self-applicator pipe traditionally used for administering hapé (a sacred tobacco snuff) during spiritual and healing ceremonies. Typically made from wood, bone, or bamboo, the kuripe allows individuals to blow the powdered hapé into their own nostrils, as opposed to relying on another person.

How to use a kuripe:

  1. Place a small amount of hapé powder into the longer end of the kuripe.
  2. Position the shorter end into one nostril while sealing the other nostril with a finger.
  3. Hold the kuripe at a 45-degree angle, close your mouth, and take a deep breath.
  4. Blow sharply and intentionally through the longer end, propelling the hapé into your nasal passage.
  5. Repeat for the other nostril, ensuring balance.

This practice is often used for grounding, clearing mental clutter, and connecting with spiritual intentions.
